I am very excited to announce that I will be displaying a collection of work from a personal project called, FLOW. This is a series of waterscapes exploring the depth and movement of water flowing through the Trinity Alps. These images will be on display from Feb. 15th – Mar. 15th at the Photo Shop in San Luis Obispo. There will be an Artist Reception held on March 1st from 6p-8p during Art After Dark.

This is something I have been working on for the past 3 year, collecting images during summer trips with my family to the trinity alps. This watershed is rich with beautifully clear creeks and streams that feed into each other, and eventually the Trinity River. My family has had property in this area for generations. I have watched the water flow through these narrow granite canyons since I was a baby. The light and color in these waters is mesmerizing. It’s been a joy to finally capture the beauty of their flow down the mountain.

Images will be displayed as large metal prints and available for purchase at the Photo Shop Feb. 15 – March 15, directly through me and through the FLOW online gallery.
